New Moon Daylong Retreats

At Aranya Bodhi Hermitage on the Sonoma Coast

These daylong retreats include guided meditation, sitting and walking practice, and time to meditate outside in nature.

"Six Objects for Mindfulness"    Saturday, August 6th

With Ayya Sobhana and Dhammadharini Sangha.
These themes for contemplation are offered by the Buddha for protection from evil and danger, from the moment of waking from sleep, and throughout the day and night.

The disciples of Gotama, thoroughly awakened,
whose mindfulness, by day and by night,
is constantly directed to the Buddha,
is constantly directed to the Dhamma,
is constantly directed to the Sangha,
is constantly directed to the body,
The disciples of Gotama, thoroughly awakened,
whose mind, by day and by night,
is intent on kindness,
is intent on meditation.
